After reading a couple mixed reviews, I decided to take the plunge anyway and see for myself. Upon receiving my punch, I cleaned it up a bit to make sure there was no manufacturing dust inside and punched through some waxed paper a few times to lubricate it...worked like a dream!! I punched through a few photos and also a project life cardstock paper. The most wonderful thing about this punch us that it matches the project life 3x4 cards exactly, including the rounded corners. This tool has earned it's keep and will surely make things a lot easier!
From the moment I saw that this punch was coming to your store I was sure I wanted it, and I eagerly kept checking back until it finally arrived. I ordered it immediately--and I have not been disappointed. I love it! It makes my Project Life scrapbooking really easy, and I have found multiple other paper projects to use it on as well (I make cards for my wallet with frequently used phone numbers, lists of medications, etc.) I use it in my home office, too.
Awesome tool for my card making and scrapbooking projects. Easy to use, accurate, and makes my job so much easier. Love the clear window design, so I can see "exactly" what I am punching.
Definitely a must have for ANY card maker and/or scrapbooker!

I especially love that I can crop/cut beautiful photos out and they are cornered and look professional for my projects.
This is probably more for pocket or project life scrappers but I still see a real use for it in my 12x12 formats. Saves getting my cutting tools out and have actually found that while my pictures are mostly all 4x6 I can crop them with this tool and still have the 'meat of my picture' in the frame. It'll save a lot of time down the road. My only con for it was that it was VERY stiff to use the 1st few times...but once it was broke-in it worked just fine!
This is a great idea in theory. This punch allows you to quickly punch pictures to use in your Project Life albums. You can see the picture perfectly and where it will be cut, making getting it just right a snap. However, the punch is very hard to depress (I have to stand up and put a lot of force on it). Then, it rarely pops back up to release the negative part of the paper or photo. It takes a few minutes of fussing with it each time I use it.
This is a great idea but it needs re-engineered. I can't recommend it in it's current form. I've used it about 20 times and only 1-2 times has it released without intervention.
While the punch does make great 3x4 cards with rounded corners, it also punches 4 holes around where the card was punched. For example, if you wanted to make a 12x12 page with a 3x4 punch somewhere (perhaps in the middle), you'd also end up with 4 holes around the 3x4 space. Don't know what the significance of these holes is, but it would be a much better product without them.
I bought this to quickly punch out 3x4 cards from the 12x12 pre-made journal card sheets, the 4x6 sheets and other lovely cardstock. I was SO disappointed to find that the punch makes FOUR extra holes around the actual punched shape!! I get the mechanics of it all and can't say I have a solution but I can't see using this very much because of this. Maybe the next one will have a new design and not wreck the rest of your paper. :(
This is a tough to punch punch and it wastes paper. You need a palm on each side and give it a strong punch. A 3x4 is more easily accomplished with your trimmer, saves paper and if you want rounded corners, use a corner punch, seriously. This was a waste of money and takes up space.
We R Memory Keepers is known for their quality products, but this is the exception. The Punch doesn't give a clean cut and leaves holes around the outer edge of the paper! The idea is great! Hopefully they will take the punch back to the drawing board and improve it!
I thought this would be a good tool for me when I wanted smaller pieces of paper without getting out the paper cutter and the corner rounder. It is designed so there are 2 hole punches about 1/2" outside the main cut on each long side causing whatever you are cutting out of to be damaged and wasting the other portions of the paper or photo. I thought I could also use this as not only as a positive cutter but also a negative one as well--ie cut out a window. Those punch pegs kill that idea and make this a less functional tool. I thought would be easy and multi-functional. I had not seen any videos of the tool being used so was unaware of this thoughtless design flaw. No one has ever mentioned it in the reviews that I have searched out. Isn't there a way to hold the paper in place without the pegs, not have slippage, center the paper or photo and still have a multi-functional tool?
Also, right out of the box it was making fuzzy cuts.

This punch is only available in the 3" x 4" size.
