This mat is a must for use with the Sew Easy Stitch Piercer Tool. It is just the right length to work with 12x12 paper, so one side can be completely pierced without having to slide the paper up or down. The thick mat allows the tool to pierce the paper clean through, so the needle doesn't have to make the hole itself. I'll be getting a lot of use out of my tool and mat!
This is a must have if you own the Sew Easy Stitch Piercer Tool, love the gridding it helps me keep a straight line. Size is not to big and not to small but just perfect. For the low price I wouldn't even waste the time to find a different cheaper substitute, great value, great price, great quality, just a down right great product!
If you got the sew easy tool you must get this piercing mat cos when you use other thing to replace it, or you make a mess with your tool's "teeth" or you dont get a nice result on your page (i did both =/ ). With this piercing mat it just gets perfect!
The Sew Easy Piercing Mat it's a must for the Sew Easy - Stitch Piercer Tool... the mat is needed for stitching tool to work correctly. If you have the Stitching tool and not this mat; the stitching tool does not pierce the paper correctly.
If you're going to purchase the sew easy piercer, I think this perticular mat is a must. It's different than a self healing mat or quilt mat. This mat has more of a foam texture that makes a big difference when using the tool & attachment.
