Not only is this "rotary' trimmer the worst I have ever used, the blade retracting mechanisim is stiff and hard to move it barely covers the blade when not in use. The blade does not roll freely even when you follow instructions and loosen the blade nut to the point it wobbles and almost falls off!! The blade that came with it was of very poor quality, dull with nicks and imperfections in manufacture vissible. Get a rotary cutter that has the blade housing off set and not in line with the the handle, you will be much better off.
