I first saw this product on a scrapbook presentation on a TV show and just loved all the features presented. By the time I decided to buy, it was sold out.....I came to this superstore to purchase and it was sold out here as well.....I put my name on the list to notify me when it came back in stock. I ordered once I was notified that it was back in stock.
I have to tell you that this is by far the BEST scrapbooking tool I have purchased to date. I can't believe it took me so long to invest in a GOOD mat. The oversized mat is great. There's room to have your 12 x 12 layout and still work off to the side. The oversized ruler is nice as well.....The magnetic element is by far the BEST feature about this product. it comes with 8 little magnets that have just the right amount of magnetism to them. They hold your papers, embellies in place while still being able to manuever things around on your layout until you decide you want to adhere it. The craft/Xacto knife is nice as well. I haven't used the rotary cutter or circle cutter yet, but if they are up to the same quality as the other items, I'm sure they are great too.
The mat/ruler/magnets are worth the price of admission. I love this product and I just can't believe it took me so long but was definitely worth the wait.

I love this entire kit and am very glad I spent the money. I was originally looking for a good circle cutter and saw that this came with one and so much more! The mat is magnetic which makes keeping your paper still while cutting so easy. It comes with 8 smaller magnets for holding embellishments onto your page until you are ready to attach them, which is great if you're always running out of time!
Only cons: The rotary cutter leaves a little much to be desired but I use the craft knife instead which works great. The circle cutter is a little rough on pictures printed on thinner photo paper but again, I'm so happy with how good it works on other things that I do not mind.

I saw someone using a magnetic ruler and mat at one of my lss and looked everywhere locally for one. Then I came across this and had to get it. I am very pleased with the size of both the ruler and mat, and also the strength of the magnet. Haven't tried the circle cutter yet, but everything else is well worth it. I think the oversized ruler and mat make it worth it in itself.

The oversized mat and ruler and the BEST, giving plenty of work space when working with 12" x 12" papers and cardstock. The rotary cutter works for cutting straight stripts of paper or fabric. Every tool in this set is wonderful to work with.

I use this on nearly every lay-out I make. It is perfect for cutting angled lines, and also for straight lines. The magnetic ruler holds the paper in place while you do the cutting. Well worth the investment.
