These ruined my Crop-A-Dile II Big Bite! Two of them!
I was happy when I found this color and I thought it being the same brand, it would work perfect with the Crop-A-Dile II Big Bite but it actually ruined two tools. I bought one big bite and and used it to apply inexpensive white eyelets/washers to every album page binding for two albums and it worked perfectly (approximately 50 eyelets/washers). Then when I received these brass eyelets, I tried to use my Big Bite and it wouldn't work. I thought I broke it on my other albums so I went and bought another and the same thing happened. I think the brass is too hard for the tools so it ruins the tools. Both tools now chew up the eyelets so I have to use a washer for the backs and they even mess up the fronts of the white eyelets now. So you can use these brass eyelets but they will barely bend with the tool (there is a lot of play with the paper) and I highly recommend a washer for the back or the tool will chew the back apart. And now, as mentioned, the tool messes up the front of my other eyelets. I read reviews of the tool and some have had this problem as well. Now, I know why some eyelets are labelled as aluminum and I wish I had only bought those before buying two tools. I don't know why We R Memory Keepers would sell something their own tool can't handle. So, use with extreme caution and realize that if you do, your tool may never set a perfect eyelet again!
