I don't know what I would personally classify as scarlett but this has a rich deep orange tone to it with a lit hint of red to it. But it is gorgeous, and matches perfectly to the papers and embossed die cut tags I ordered with it. This is one of those colors that I could see people not agreeing on if it's orange or red.
