Questions & Answers
  • What size would the finished block be? i.e. one quarter of the larger block shown in the picture.   By: ghapgood (21-Aug-16) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!
    • Hey there, this is a great block. Correct. When you cut the 4 pcs on the die & sew them together, that equals a quarter of a 6 1/2" completed square. 4 of those quarters equals one block of your quilt. All the quilting dies have a 1/4" allowance. Hope that helps, enjoy & happy quilting. By: garrett1 (23-Aug-16) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! • Will the fabi Bigz dies work in the Accuquilt Go BIG electric fabric cutter   By: angel041504 (22-Apr-15) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!
    • from Sizzix: They will need to contact AccuCut for the answer on this one. We cannot determine if our dies will work in their machines. We can the other way around though. • Does this die work in the Sizzix big shot machine?   By: craftjunkie4life (07-Mar-15) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!
    • I just saw this question & you probably have an answer already. I thought I would share what I know just in case, The AccuCut, Mark 3, 4, & grandmark machines use roller/hand crank technology. The same type that Sizzix uses in their Big Shot, BS Plus, Express, & Pro machines. The height opening is nearly the same, so just pick a machine with the width opening you need for the dies you use. I use the Big Shot & Big Shot Pro. These machines for me, work with everybody's dies except Fiskars dies. They are very thick. For all others I add a shim when needed - There are loads of acrylic shims, platforms & stuff out there to make any of the shape cutters, metal dies, & fabric dies work with the above mention machines. Thanks for letting me chat you up & happy crafting. By: garrett1 (23-Aug-16) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This Answer has been reported. Thank you!
