The Doily Insert and Pocket you create using this set of Sizzix Thinlits dies will look elegant on any project. Use it as a unique card or invitation, or add it to a layout. In this package, you will receive four dies designed by Rachael Bright, a storage envelope, and a diagram that explains how to make the proper sandwich in any Sizzix machine. Using Cutting Pads and the machine's Platform, Thinlits can be run through a BIGkick, Big Shot or Vagabond machine. The Essentials Platform or Solo Platform and Shim require the use of an Extended Adapter or Solo Adapter (all items sold separately). Because they are so intricate, these dies may require as many as three passes through the machine to fully cut. To more easily remove your shape from the die, try using a piece of wax paper between the die and material. In order to emboss, you will need the machine's Platform, plus an Impressions Pad and Silicone Rubber Sheet (not included). These dies are very thin and made in a process called chemical etching. They can also be used as a stencil with ink or chalk, either by itself or to complement embossed designs. You will achieve the best results when cutting one sheet of vellum, paper, cardstock or metallic foil. When complete, your pocket will measure 3" x 3 1/2".
