Cut what you see. Its that easy and efficient with Framelits from Sizzix. These wafer-thin chemical-etched die sets feature the perfect registration without interference from any ridges at the edge of the die opening. Plus, theyre excellent for clearly cropping photos and cutting windows in cards, bags, boxes and scrapbook pages. Designed to cut a single sheet of cardstock, paper, metallic foil or vellum, these dies also make great stencils and are perfect for layering to produce a 3-D effect. This Framelits 4-Die Set showcases the eye-popping style of artist Karen Burniston. The Framelits Dies in this set range from 1" x 1 3/4" to 3" x 4 1/8" and are compatible with the BIGkick, Big Shot and Vagabond machines (used with a pair of Cutting Pads and the machine's included Platform; when using the Essentials Platform or Solo Platform and Shim, the Extended Adapter or Solo Adapter is required). All items sold separately. These die-cut shapes measure approximately 1" x 1 3/4", 1 1/8" x 5 1/2", 1 1/2" x 2 3/4", 3" x 4 1/8".
I really like this. It makes adding a gift card to any card a secure possibility. And, the tags and fancy edge die were a great extra! I'll use this for most birthday and holiday card I make.

I'm not sure if it has a specific purpose but I use it as a decorative strip element or cut into thirds and use each piece as a decorative hanging tag reinforcing element.
