Description & Details
Susan Tierney-Cockburn and Sizzix have come together to create this Thinlits Die for use with the BIGkick, Big Shot and Vagabond machines. With this set, you can make beautiful realistic-looking mini flowers. Cutting Pads, Platforms, Shims, and Adapters are each sold separately. This chemically-etched ultrathin die will cut through a single piece of paper, cardstock, metallic foil, or vellum. Due to the intricate nature of these thin dies, up to three passes through the machine may be necessary. Envelope included for easy storage. Design Measurements: 1 5/8" x 1 1/8" to 3 1/8" x 1 7/8".

This die template requires use of a pair of Cutting Pads and the machine's included Platform; when using the Essentials Platform or Solo Platform and Shim, the Extended Adapter or Solo Adapter is required. Note:
  • Use heavyweight, smooth cardstock - 80 lbs or more - for best results.
  • Because of their intricacy, Thinlits Dies may require up to three passes to cut.
  • This set includes a handy storage envelope.
  • For easy identification, trim off the packaging front flap, keep and slip into the envelope.

    • what paper does Susan use in her flowers?   By: ladybug120 (14-Dec-14) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!
      • I was recommended to try Accessory sheets, by Quilled Creations. haven't tried them yet, but it is a heavier weight, and better than the very thin paper I tried. • what is the powder she dips the center of the flower in   By: ladybug120 (14-Dec-14) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!
      • In this video, I think she's dipping flower centre into a product called Flower Soft. It comes in a whole whack of colors, and there are patterns and projects they sell, to go solely with the powders. By: ScrappinBuff (15-Dec-14) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Do I need to use the tool kit to make these?   By: User (10-Dec-14) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!
      • You need a stylus, a foam pad (you could use a mouse pad) and tweezers when making these flowers. The description for these flowers is somewhat deceiving when describing the size. The 'Mini Petals' in the name means exactly that; which in my opinion, makes having the tools very important. I recommend the Sizzix - Susan's Garden Collection - Molding Pad, Leaf Pad and Non-Stick Sheet because the are small making it easy to change between the surfaces as you assemble your flower. The Sizzix - Susan's Garden Collection - Tool Kit has everything you need in it or you could get the McGill - Paper Blossoms Collection - Tool Kit with the Sizzix molding pad.
