A Butterfly By Any Other Name...

I am an artist with two degrees in art and design, so I should be doing my own stuff, right? I have a confession. I have crossed over to the dark side and am having the time of my life with paper crafts. I watercolor all my punched and die cut shapes. That's why the Botanical Sanctuary Collection appeals to me so much. The designs suggest rather than trying to imitate the real thing. I can already see (in my mind's eye) the uses to which I am looking forward to applying these designs.

If you like a soft look on your cards or pages, you can make these die cuts as nostalgic as you like or as modern as you like. They cut cleanly, and the negative pieces fall out easily. Since there is so much open space in the designs, as you extract them from the paper from which they are cut they do tend to catch on the uneven edges. So take a little care and they will yield abundant rewards that will not fly away.
