There's no lining the ends of your design up with these dies - they are continuous to give you one long border. Decorative Strip Dies can be used to cut single sheets of materials, including paper and cardstock. Please note that these dies are 12 5/8" long. They are designed for exclusive use with a BIGkick, Big Shot or Vagabond machine with a set of 13" Cutting Pads and an Extended Spacer Platform, or with a Sidekick machine with a set of 13" Cutting Pads (sold separately).
