I debated to purchase this machine because really the only reason I *wanted* it was because I thought it was cute and it matched my home decor :) I have had another manufacturer's die cutting machine that I have used for years and still works like a champ. And THEN I used this - WOW, what a difference a machine makes. So smooth and no little bumps in the road when cranking a die through.
Be sure to purchase all of the adapters (shims and plates) for use of other manufacturer dies, otherwise you will be waiting to use your machine like I had to once it arrived.
I was looking for a Die cutter that could handle the large dies and embossing folders. I like to make my own greeting cards and jewelry as gifts. The Vintaj version of the BIGkick fit the bill and can handle almost any thing I can throw at it. It is just one more device added to my crafting tools.
super excited to have this beauty on order. I have held off on buying a BIGkick, and now am glad I did. The neutral colors match my scrappy space perfectly! and it does EVERYTHING that the original pink/black machine can do. Thanks Sizzix!
