The 3-D Lanterns Bigz XL Die from Sizzix will cut a three-dimensional lantern shape from thick materials such as cardstock, chipboard, foam, fabric, metallic foil and more. Use only with a BIGkick, Big Shot or Vagabond machine. It requires one Extended Cutting Pad and one Extended Crease Pad. Ribbon and extra-strong bond, double-sided tape are required to assemble the lantern. All items are sold separately. The die measures 6" x 13 3/4" and the assembled lanterns range from approximately 2 1/4" x 4 7/8" to 3 1/2" x 3 3/4" (smaller lantern) and 3 1/4" x 8 3/8" to 6 1/8" x 7" (larger lantern). The width of the lantern is dependent on how many side panels are cut. The height of lantern is determined by how tightly the ribbon is pulled.
