What an interesting design! This is a SIZZLITS die, so will cut paper and cardstock (but not heavy chipboard or fabric - which would be nice - someday - Tim, are you listening??) Because the die cuts the paper into a long strip with horizontal perforations (for folding), the paper needs to be sturdy enough to survive that punishment........OR you need to reinforce it with a piece of tape (TH's Tissue Tape works nicely!) before folding.
I DID have trouble getting my first rosette together, even after watching the video. But practice!! It's a clever design and looks great when you use Distress ink to give the piece dimension.
Tim Holtz's rosette dies are fabulous. These rosettes add a real touch of class to any page layout or card and you will quickly fall in love with these embellishments. Highly recommend these rosette dies to everyone.
All I can say is Tim Holtz at his best again. He only gives the highest quality of products. Had a little trouble at first manipulating the rosette but once I got the hang of it -- oh the possibilities!!
This is a super awesome die from Tim! Easy to use and make the flower. Works wonderfully with the side kick as well as the bigger machines. Perfect for cards as well as altered projects or layouts. jen
MY first one was a little shaky...but I got the hang of it. I was blown away by how fast and easy it was. Thanks Tim for a cool die for those of us who are Rosette "challenged" !
