From Tim's own hands, these new Sizzix designs are as contemporary as they come and include some truly unique applications. Distress to impress! This grunge-inspired collection easily embosses so that select areas of the image appear perfectly faded and distressed. This set of Embossing Folders from Sizzix and designed by Tim Holtz contains two large folders, measuring 5 3/4" x 4 1/2" x 1/8”. The large folders also fit the exact dimensions of an A2 card. Texture Fade Embossing Folders are for use with the BIGkick and Big Shot machines (used with the machine's included Platform) and Texture Boutique Machines (machines sold separately). This Texture Fade Embossing Folders Set includes these two folder designs: Burlap (large) and Swirls (large).

    texture fades - burlap and swirls

    the burlap texture fade embossing fade really adds interest to the paper whether using it for a card or scrapbook page...love how ecah side of the embossed paper gets a different texture look (the backside, when colored, looked like corn on the cob).

    the swirls look great, but I needed to add a layer of paper and remove the shim on the Vagabond to take some of the pressure off, as it has a tendency to slightly tear the paper.
