I did not realize I needed it when I purchased the die cut but it has worked well. Care must be taken for the thickness and number of items being 'creased'.
Haven't used this yet. I will let you know how I like it.

Someone said this could be used as a substitute for Mat B on We R Memory keepers evolution machine. I can't find Mat B anywhere, does anyone know if this is true?

Unfortunately, we cannot recommend using this in another brand's machine as it would likely void the warranty.

Yes. This can be used with the Big Shot Express with the extended pads..
