I ordered this item along with anoter one of the Sizzix texture plates and I love it. I had already purchased the Sizzix Big Shot but, for some reason didn't realize that it didn't work without the silicone impression pad. I wasn't able to purchase the silicone mat right away but I did a little improvising. I used adhesive backed foam that you would find in any craft store, cut it to size, put it in between my cutting board, paper and platform. It made the most beautiful impressions. I love it. I would recommend this product to anyone. Great Investment!!!
I haven't used these yet but only because I haven't had time as I have been so busy with the other purchases I made along with these. I can't wait to use them on my Christmas cards for Christmas 2011. I plan to start making those cards in the near future. I like to have them made well ahead so that everything doesn't have to be done at the last minute.
Ever since I got my Sizzix Texture Botique I have been an embossing machine ! It give me a whole new avenue of cardmaking and frame making to go down. These are adorable
