The Standard Cutting Pad by Sizzix was specially designed for easy die-cutting of Originals dies in the original press-style Sizzix machine. The Cutting Pad is made of high-quality polypropylene plastic, measures 6 3/8" x 4 7/8" x 3/8", and lasts for thousands of cuts. The Cutting Pad is meant to be used on both sides. When both sides are worn out, it is time for a replacement Cutting Pad. When combined with the System Converter (sold separately), the original Sizzix machine and this Cutting Pad can also emboss and die-cut using other Sizzix dies and embossing products (Clearlits, Embosslits, Sizzlits, and Simple Impresssions). Accommodate competitors' wafer-thin dies by adding a Sizzix Adapter (sold separately).
If you have the original sizzix then you know it is not easy to find dies and cutting pads locally, but this was less expensive (including shipping) than the one I purchased on the sizzix site! How crazy is that?
I got my Sizzix quite some time ago. I stocked up on these pads whenever they went on sale. I've cut countless thing on the same pad. The pad looks ugly now; it's got cuts all in it and they're so superimposed over each other that you can't even tell what I ever cut on the thing. However, it keeps on working. I've had no problems. It's durable and lasts what feels like forever!

My original Sizzix machine continues to be a favorite in my card making madness. I forget how old it is, let's just say it's a Senior Citizen in my tool world. Sizz is beginning to show signs of her age namely cracks in the frame. The cutting pads last a long time and are easily cleaned. I've even lightly sanded them to prolong their useage ( read that as when replacements are not in the budget)

Difficult to find. Worried when I ordered it would not be the correct part, but it was and I'm thrilled I found this for a gift for my mom who still uses the original Sizzix machine.
My order came earlier than the estimated delivery date and was in pristine condition. Now I can continue to enjoy my original Sizzix cutting machine!
This product is just like the original cutting pad. Glad I could find it so I could have an extra.
They fit the original red die cutter. I can't wait to use them on future projects
