This storage cover is an easy way to make sure that all your stuff is still there when going on crops.
I do not use it for storage on a daily basis that would be to much trouble I think :-)
Like most higher priced items I wanted one of these for a long time. After reading lots of feedback I finally took the plunge and bought the base unit, the upper tier unit, extra clips, and the cover.
If you have the table space, to leave this unit out in the open, Clip It Up is a FANTASTIC way to store, see, and use your supplies.
BUT if you are like me and do not have the room to leave it out all the time..Think Twice about buying it. It starts with finding a place to store it. The 2 unit (lower & upper tiers) is quite large! Too large to store under most tables.
And then there is the cover. Even after using it for several months I always seem to knock items off while putting on or removing the cover. So each time I uncover it I am reclipping several items. And recently I have found things that have fallen off while I was putting the cover on are getting damaged (they fall inside so you don't know).
Now don't get me wrong, if I had the space to leave it out I would LOVE it and would probably buy several but when using it as a storage device with the cover...not so good.
If you're going to travel with your clip it up then you definately need one of these cute covers. You just slip it over the top of your clip it up (with or without the top tier), and off you go. I've used this several times and I don't really know how you'd travel without it. It's wonderful and oh so cute with that big purple flower.
THIS IS A NICE THING TO HAVE IF YOU HAVE THE CLIP IT UP.IT WILL KEEP THE KIDS OUT,AND DUST ALSO.IT GO OVER THE PRODUCTS EASY.IT DONT LOOK BAD WHEN IT AMONG YOU STUFF EITHER.
I purchased this the same time I got my Clip it Up System. I don't think it is necessary to own this cover unless you are going to keep your system where sunlight may come in contact with your goods or if you take your Clip it Up to crops. I think this was how it was marketed, but I can't imagine lugging my Clip it Up to crops! I keep mine uncovered and have never felt the need to use this cover.
