I have tried many things with my ribbon storage dillema from boxes/bags with holes in them to wrapping them around cards. It always ended the same - with them stuffed into a drawer and jar in a tangled mess. I cannot tell you how easy this has made my life - as I LOVE ribbon - I now can see all the ribbon I have and easily use it. No more double purchases. No more digging through ribbon to find matches - its all at my finger tips. Pleasant side effect - I walk into my scrap space and the ribbon beckons me and my creativity gets a kick start. I would and have totally recommended this product to my friends.
The ribbon organizer is the best I've seen: very well made, holds a huge amount of spools and pieces, and eliminates the problem of removing several spools from a dowel to get to the one you want. I could not believe the Twelve Days of Christmas price of just $9.99. I bought only two so I could share, but now wish I had bought more at that price. Sorry this has taken me so long to respond. I had a difficult area to hang this in and it took my special "handyman" to help me. We just hung it and I am so pleased to eliminate the boxes I previously had my ribbons stored in. They are now organized according to color and are up and out of the way, thus allowing for more work space! Not only is this item very functional but, it looks great in its new color of white ( thanks to my "handyman") next to my white cabinets. I would recommend this to fellow organizers.

Excellent item- very sturdy and well-made. An absolute 'must have' for craft rooms, as it keeps all the ribbons, braids etc. both tidy and easy to use.
I also really like the fact that it has a slot for scissors and the strong little clips underneath keep all the smaller pieces to hand. Now I can actually see what I have - I wish I had bought this product years ago!

I have to agree with all reviews posted before me. This is a great storage solution for ribbon. It is large and deep to hold many sizes of ribbon/spools. Having it hanging on the wall is nice, it is out of the way but still accessible and in visual range so that you don't forget about what you have and can find the perfect ribbon for your page. I also had trouble getting the back part on to hide the nails, but I have it high enough that you can't really see it so I gave up trying to fit it on.
