This is a great album to do a quick project. I wanted to make an album that spans a year (from June to June) to make for my new grandson. I wanted a smaller size so I could us just one or two pictures per month. I cut paper from Karen Fosters line of monthly "doodle" paper to fit the 8x8 page protectors. I put the 13 months all together in this album and plan to add one or two photos for each month to see how he has grown through the year. I originally thought I'd give it to my daughter-in-law so she could add the photos, but now I love it so much, I think I will have to make one for myself!! That's why I ordered an extra album and extra page protectors!
I purchased 9 of these scrapbooks to use with my brownie troop to scrapbook all the trips, crafts, and meetings that we had all year. The color is a really nice green-not too limeish though. I pre-cut 8x8 paper to fit in them. My goal was to keep the cost $10.00 or lower between the album and photo processing. With the cost of the album, I should be able to do that. I will definitely order more for other projects.
I love how flat this album is --- i use several for coupon
keeping --- the 8x8 works for me the best. i use a red
album for restaurant coupons / pink one for the mall coupons /
Green one for other stores not in the mall ---
i just grab the one i need and my coupons are handy all the time
and easy to find. i highly recommend this album.

These are the perfect size for scrapping smaller events or things that lasted only 1 or 2 days. I've always done 12X12 albums and I thought the page seemed small until I started putting my pages together and realized that once I'd cropped my photos everything went together smoothly. The bonus to the small page size: the album is done before you know it!
This is the second time around I am purchasing these. In this time of our poor economy, it is always nice to find a bargain for my scrapbooking. Not only is the price right, it is great quality for the price. I will be getting more for scrapbook gifts for the family!
