I think glue dots are one of the best things to happen to scrapbookers! They are one of my very favorite adhesives, and I never let myself run out of them! That is one thing that I think is so neat about this play pack--you are stocked up for awhile--1,388 dots is alot of adhesive! If you love glue dots you should definitely purchase this set--you will not only save money, but will also save yourself to trips to the store! I like glue dots because they are so strong and will attatch just about anything to your pages. My very favorite things to use glue dots on are--buttons, flowers, metal, & ribbons. The mini glue dots are my favorite because they are small enough to fit just about anywhere you might need to put adhesive!
I used these for the first time at a crop Friday night and feel they are the best quality vellum adhesive that I have ever used! There is no mess, unlike my roll of vellum tape that has a tendency to get lint on the sides of the roll if I am not careful where I lay it down. I have really liked my roll of vellum adhesive up until I actually used this product. I used the Glue Dots brand vellum glue dot sheet adhesive on vellum that is mounted on a dark red and there is no show through at all. A small amount held the vellum in place. For the price, I feel this is a very economical product also, each sheet will do multiple layouts!
Mini Glue Dots are one of those supplies that you should always have on hand. There are so many uses for them. You can adhere metal, buttons, flowers and anything else that regular adhesive won't work on. They're very easy to use. Just unroll a few inches off the roll, press your button (or whatever) flat against a glue dot, pull it away and the glue dot is on it. Now you can attach it to your project. Just keep in mind that these are permanent. Once you stick them down you cannot reposition them. To any new scrapper reading this, a pack of Glue Dots is money well spent.
Just like the name says "Play." If you use glue dots this is a great purchase---50% off! If you like to papercraft a lot like me this is the product for you. Great for those 3D or large embellishments as well as ribbons ets. The variety of glue dots include everything in this package. Different sizes and strengths for differents projects. Most have 2 packages of each. I am sharing these with a friend at a "Mega" paper/stamp workshop on the weekend. I figure I will have enough glue dots for about a year's worth of "play" and at 50% off. Another great purchase!
I call these my multi-purpose Glue Dots!! I use them on the back of matted photos, dies cuts, and light weight embellishments. I love them. They are easy to use (just touch the adhesive to the part of the embellishment or matte photo that you want to place it) and have a very strong bond (pages that I made 4 years ago still have everything in place)! I buy Glue Dots Brand whenever I can so that I know that I'll have a supply on hand.
I have used glue dots for a couple of years now. I love to use them for placing buttons and flowers on layouts. They stick really well to paper, chipboard, plastic, and even wood. One of my friends even used a glue dot to fix a decorative button on her coat. The coat has been washed a few times and the glue dots is still holding up! I definitely recommend ever scrapper has glue dots in their tool caddies!
I love this pack of glue dots. The mini dots are perfect for those small buttons and embellishments, while the craft ones hold ribbon and bigger buttons perfectly. The vellum dots are terrific for not showing through your vellum. The pop dots are the best for holding bottle caps and things that need a little "pop" to them. highly reccomend these. They are very convienent in the little packs.
I already knew I loved the mini glue dots, and now I know I love them all. This was a great value to have a bunch on hand. I can be sure I'll have what I need for a while. If you have never tried glud dots, it is a definate must for any scrapper, paper crafter, or even general crafter. They work where all other adhesives fail or are a pain/messy to use.
I call this my second adhevsive I love them so much I try only to use them sparingly, I have every size they make mini, craft, pop up , and vullemn, and get a little worried when I start to run short. the bond with these things is unreal once it adhears to your page you are not getting it off without destroying the layout
Glue dots are really awesome! They come in a bunch of sizes. They're clear, and they basically stick to anything. If you pull it off a couple of seconds after you place it on your paper, you can usually get it off without causing any damage to surface. This and the tape runner are my favorite types of adhesive!!
