I saw finished products using this tin as the base for a clever and creative gift card holder on Scrapbook.com. I wanted to give my son gift cards for Christmas and decided that this would be an awesome way to give a rather "boring" (BUT DESIRED) Christmas gift. I am thrilled to add this to my creative idea file.
I have purchased several of these tins that have made really perfect gift card holders. They are so easy to be creative with and everyone who gets one feels special. Great for using up small leftover paper and ribbons. Now all my friends and family want gift cards so they can get a decorated tin. I love them!
This is such a cute project! At Christmas, we made Christmas tree ornaments out of them, and of course they are great gift card holders. Decopauge them with any kind of paper and stickers, add ribbon, and you have your very own unique presentation for a special gift!
