I've had trouble recently with my roller TAPE (different brand) and had intended to try a different tape runner, but ordered the dots instead. Am I glad I goofed!
The "dots" are tiny - they aren't like the "dot" adhesives, that come in circle sizes of varying diameters. They are tiny dots, arranged in a pattern, than go on in a strip about the same width as a standard tape roller. If used like a standard roller - they work the same.
BUT...here's the good part... if you run it over something like, say, a punched strip or a cut-out image that has minimal surface area, the little dots on the strip adhere only to the back of the paper and the rest are just left behind on the waste paper. So, you can run it over short sections of a punched strip and then adhere, rather than running it through something like a Xyron sticker maker - using less adhesive! It's cost-effective!
I'm looking forward to trying the TAPE next - what I'd originally intended. But am I glad I goofed!
Used in this project: Christmas 2015

I received this Adhesive Dots Roller Thursday when I picked up my order. I had ordered the Permanent Adhesive 6 pack so this was an extra treat for me. I have used both the dots and the strips and I love them both. They go on so smoothly and the roller operates perfectly. I will definitely use both from now on. The price is right and there is 32 feet on each roll.

I used the Scrapbook.com Repositional Adhesive Dots Roller last year on some Valentines Day cards I made. I was really liking how this product performed. I used a lot of it! Then, I recently, went through a drawer where I found the Valentines Day card (made last year) I had made for my husband. All the pieces of larger die cuts and the card panel were starting to fall off. I had to go back and use glue to adhere all the pieces back into place. Now I worry that other recipients who got my cards,( those who kept my cards), are experiencing the same thing. So embarrassing! I am disappointed that this product did not hold up. I won't be purchasing it, again and can't recommend it. Sorry!

I am a victim of not always getting my insets straight on my cards. Pulling them off after applying them is impossible with adhesive tape. I decided to try this after watching a project tutorial and realized that I can place one edge of my inset on my card and position it repeatedly until I am happy and then secure it with tape. I know cards are made with love but when a focal piece is not straight I feel like I didn't do my best. This product gives you the ability to try again and again until you are happy with it before securing your project.

I love this stuff! It's absolutely perfect if you are not absolutely perfect! The depositional roller allows you to actually make an error while trying to layer die cuts, card panels, etc especially if you have any type of hand or stability issues.

Both of these broke. The first one I opened only ran about 3 pictures and it would no longer dispense. I tried fixing it but the tape broke. The 2nd one would not dispense at all. It also broke. Will not buy these again.

This was purchased after reading about a crafter using it on bows. Its light and sticks well. There is always a place for dots as opposed to full adhesive.

This is an excellent temporary adhesive. It dispenses smoothly and easily with very little effort. If I apply it and then change my mind, it removes easily by rolling over it with a lint roller. I will definitely be ordering more at this great price!
