This is the most clever device to help with the smallest of items for my scrapbooking and cardmaking. This is extremely helpful when I am working with rhinestones. I have long thick nails and accidentaly dropped many rhinestones and had them all picked up in no time with the help of the 'sticky' end. The fact that this is more than a quick-picker-upper, the other end of stick, you have a flat tip scrapper (this helped me to remove thin stickers from it's packaging) and a very sharp tool to pierce or get into the tinest of places. I use the Quickstik everyday and have told several people about how helpful this is in every day life. You get a lot for the money you pay for this.
This is such a great tool! I wasn't sure I would use it much but I find myself using it on almost every project now and am going to order a few more so I always have one on hand. The only thing I didn't like was that the instructions on the tool itself are not very clear. When you first receive your stick -DO NOT TRY AND TWIST CAP OFF - it pulls off. I ended up wasting quite a bit of the "sticky stuff" just trying to get the silly cap off). Also, store and use your stick without the clear tool end (it pulls out) this prevents the "sticky stuff" from coming out by accident or when you don't want it to.
This tool is like having a third hand! I didn't realize that it's really 3 tools in one: sticky point to pick up small embellies and pieces; pointy end to poke out small pieces and corners of die-cuts; and flat part to hold items steady for placement. the end opposite of the sticky point has the other 2 tools. It pulls out, and I use it frequently to hold things and to poke out die-cuts that didn't cut all the way. I love it! No more torn corners because a punch didn't punch all the way through, and no more struggling with adhering tiny pieces.
This is one of those things I delayed in purchasing because I didn't think I really needed it. Once I got it I wondered what I did without it! The tacky end is so good at picking up little bitty things, nothing else works as well! The tool end is flat and hard so it will lift the corner of things easily.
I use the tacky end to hold letters and dies while I dab liquid adhesive on the back. You can cover the whole surface, which you can't do with tweezers. Great tool!
This is one of the most useful little rigs you will ever buy... it's the one tool that you always wanted but didn't know existed. Very basically simple in design but does the work of tweezers, toothpicks, or paper piercers. It's the extra small fingers you always wish for when working with sticky glue small paper piecing.. don't just order one, be safe and get 2 just in case you misplace one. Once you use it, you will never want to scrap without it again!
