You'll be addicted in no time to the White Crackle Art Extravagance Texture Paste by Prima. This paste is a dense, permanent white paste which provides an antique-looking crackling effect to your projects. The size of crackle will depend on the thickness of the layer. It is designed for use with most surfaces including plastic, paper, metal, chipboard, fabric and more. Included is one 8.5 fl. oz. jar of texture paste that is water-based, archival safe and non-toxic. This paste can be applied with a paintbrush or palette knife (each sold separately) and painted with water-based paints.

  • what kind of base paint do you have to use with this crackle paint? Does it have to be a fresh coat of a certain kind of paint or can any spray acrylic base be okay. Can the base be older dried paint and will it still work? Thanks for your help!
