worst punch I've ever bought

I thought (and still do) that the design was very pretty. Unfortunately, the punch doesn't punch the entire design so it's impossible to line up. Instead of getting a continuous design as it shows in the sample I get what looks like an easter basket design and every punch is off by 1/2 inch. Also, with each punch of the design it tears the paper on the back because it's catching it. This is my first punch from this company and thought I was doing something wrong in lining it up so I took it to a friend of mine who has been scrapbooking for years and she told me I wasn't doing anything wrong it's just a bad punch. I won't be buying this brand anytime in the near future. I had to give it something so it gets one star but if it were possible I wouldn't even give it that.
