I always use this brand of inks. I personally have found them to be a much better quality then some others I have tried. Rust is a really good color and gives whatever you are inking an aged-color look. Blending it with the copper mixative is really pretty. I also always use a blending tool and blending solution whenever I work with these inks.
I mixed this with the copper mixative and a blue alcohol ink and it gave it a grungy aged look. Definitely worth buying!!
All of the Tim Holtz Adirondack Alcohol Inks are excellent quality. I appreciate that Tim does videos to show how to use them. I've these inks on paper, cardstock, acrylic drawer pulls, gems (to change the color) and chipboard. I have one of each color for more options when creating. Tip: Wear non-absorbant gloves when working with this product if you don't want staining on your hands. Alcohol-based hand sanitizer will remove stains if you get staining.
I bought this to change the color on some of the other pieces I bought. It is a great idea from Tim Holtz!
