The Tim Holtz Distress Markers are water based inks for coloring, journaling, stamping and more. The dual tip markers are ideal for many coloring techniques - use the brush tip for coloring, stamping and shading, use the detail tip for journaling and drawing and use to color directly on rubber and clear stamps. Distress Markers from Ranger coordinate with Distress Inks, Distress Stains, Distress Crackle Paint, Distress Stickles and Distress Embossing Powders (each sold separately). Includes one dual tip marker. Made in the USA.
I started out with only a small set of these from Hobby Lobby and am adding to them via SB.com store. I had only tried the regular felt tip markers and I must say I like these so much better. Love the dual tips but I mostly use the large end. I hope to eventually improve my ink coloring at least a little bit via the tutorials :o)
I have all of the Tim Holtz distress inks, either full size or mini cubes, but I decided I would like to get the markers to finish the group and have markers to match the inkers. Also I am starting to get reinkers for two reasons - one is to finish the grouping , but the most important is that some of there are older markers or pads is that may not be as juicy as they were at first, and You’ll have the reinkers to freshen them up for forever!
The shipping was great and fast. I highly recommend Scrapbook.com and Tim Holtz products! Great quality!
If you like you use markers with your stamps for watercolor effects, try these. They are quite juicy markers and they move nicely with a waterbrush. I love the palette and the durable plastic nib found on the fine tip end (these are dual tip markers).
