Tim Holtz Distress Specialty Stamping paper from Ranger Ink is an ideal surface to use with Distress Inks, Stains, Markers and Paint (sold separately). This unique, matte coated paper holds up well to a variety of light, water-based techniques and offers a smooth surface for blending and coloring. Each sheet is pre-cut to 4 1/4" x 5 1/2", perfect for card making projects and mixed media. Each package includes 20 specialty stamp paper sheets.
This paper makes all the difference when working with Distress Oxide inks. I'll be putting in another order shortly!
LOVE THIS PAPER! I use it for my card making. Great with distressed ink or distressed oxide ink.
Another nice specialty paper to add to my go to.
I have not had chance to use this yet, but have not ever had a bad T.Holtz product yet.

Is this paper appropriate to use for stamping, die cutting and copic marker coloring? Or is there a better paper to use?

It is more for use with Distress Ink products as it is a matte coated surface. It would be good for stamping and die cutting but we are not certain if Copic markers will work well on this surface.

What weight is this paper? Is it watercolor paper?

Hi. The packaging doesn't indicate weight but it is fairly substantial paper so I might guess it is at least 100 lb or higher. It is a matte coated cardstock to be used with distress markers, inks, stains and paints as well as archival inks for waterproof stamped images. So I would have to say it is not watercolor paper for sure. I hope this helps. Have a wonderful day.
