This is my first time using Distress Inks and they are everything I was hoping they would be! I am in love! I'm so glad I decided to get the set, too. It's a great collection of colors- especially if you're new to Distress Inks and want a decent base of colors to choose from. I'll admit, I did some price-shopping around the internet and scrapbook.com's price is pretty much in line with anywhere else, as they usually are (thank you!) ;)
Excellent quality -as expected- and a great value for the kit. Distress inks can be used directly on the media (paper, cardstock, vellum, photos, leather, wood sheets, ribbon, metal brads, chipboard, grunge board, silk flowers, etc) use a heat gun to set and the colors remain true. Mist with water and let it 'run a little' for a different effect. Layer them -starting with the lightest- and watch magic happen.
These have been the first Distress Ink's I've purchased but they won't be the last. They were excellent value! I first saw these inks demonstrated at the Paperific expo in Melbourne in 2010. I love their versatility and have been experimenting using them with water - in the mini misters and an aqua pen. If you are looking to purchase your first distress inks, you can't go past this pack!
These inks are awesome, there are so many techniques you can use with them. The colour range is fantastic and they give you an awesome distressed look. What more can we ask for. I know more colours please Tim.
Fantastic product- easy to use, acid free and fade resistant.
Can't get enough of it and the new colors are great!
Terrific service from Scrapbook.com with prompt postage to Australia.
