You'll want to splurge and get the full set of replacement plates for the Spellbinders Grand Calibur Machine. These 8.5" x 12.25" replacement plates with tray allow you to cut and emboss without having to trim the paper or fit even more dies on the plate. Included in this set are: A - Base Plate, B - Embossing Plate, C - Cutting Plate, and Rubber Embossing Pad (this product contains Natural Rubber Latex, or NRL). Included as well is a tray that will accommodate the new wider plates. You can use these plates on both sides.

GRAND CALIBUR REPLACEMENT PLATES

I still have the original plates and although have been much used, they have
not warped and are still in good shape. I wanted to have a replacement set
and was very lucky to be able to find them here.

  I bought the replacement set because I ran a die through the embossing plate and the plate broke. The die wasn't a spellbinder's and wasn't supposed to be embossed. I only needed the one plate, but they don't sell it separately. I have been using my plates a long time, so you should get a lot of cuts out of them! By: ebleedom (05-Jan-16) Helpful Answer?
