I've used Mod Podge and Liquitex gel medium and thought this was going to be the same so what's all the hooplah about, ...BUT when I used this multi-medium, it was smooth and creamy going on, and its smooth when it drys and doesn't leave my art journal pages all thick and stiff.
When I try to write over the liquitex gel medium it was rough and my pens would catch and leave marks, but not with this, this is so smooth and flexible. It's the best, I absolutely love this stuff!!
For some reason I was able to order only one of this item. I do not live near a store that carries this item and like to do online orders for my scrapbooking. I would have liked to have ordered atleast 3 of these at a time but find it will not let me order more than one at a time. I would like to save on shipping rather than place more orders. I have considered looking around to see what other vendor might carry this item and will let me order more than one at a time. Thanks
I wanted to try this product because I have seen several projects done using it. It is very smooth and since a little goes a long way this jar will probably last me a long time. It dries to a clear, matte finish and is not sticky when dry. I'm using it to reinforce some small paper embellishments and score lines on card stock. I've read it can also be used as a glue but I haven't tried that application yet.
I wanted to try a matte medium instead of always using "Modge Podge" and this was on sale, so I thought why not? It works well and even better than Modge Podge as I can use my gel pens and black microns over the medium unlike with Modge Podge.
These Claudine Hellmuth mediums are wonderful. I love the gloss and the matte. They are easy to stamp with Staz-On ink. Please try out these products.
