THANK YOU TIM FOR THIS FUN LITTLE ACCENT FOR CARDS, ALBUMS, ETC. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS FILMSTRIP. I ALWAYS WONDERED WHAT IN THE WORLD I WOULD DO WITH AL THE LITTLE TINY PHOTOS YOU GET WHEN YOU GET YOUR PHOTOS DEVELOPED. I SAVED THEM FOR YEARS, JUST IN CASE, AND WAS GOING TO THROW THEM OUT IF I DID NOT FIND ANYTHING TO DO WITH THEM. THEN THIS FILMSTRIP CAME ALONG. FIRST OF ALL WHEN I BOUGHT THIS FILMSTRIP, I THOUGT, WOW, THIS IS TINY, WHAT AM I GOING TO DO WITH THIS, IT IS TOOOO SMALL. WELL, THESE TINY PHOTOS ARE JUST RIGHT TO PUT IN THE BACKS OF THE FILMSTRIPS, VERY CUTE, VERY CLEVER. EVERYONE HAS GOT TO HAVE THIS FILMSTRIP FOR THIER PROJECTS. THREE YARDS IS A LOT. I AM HAVING A BLAST WITH IT.
This fimstrip ribbon is great! I love how much smaller it is than regular film strip. My husband use worked as a movie projectionist and brought me home some excess film strip and Tim Holtz's is much better quality. I love it! It gives your layouts a really grat vintage look, pair it with sephia style photos and it's perfect! The little can that it comes in, makes you think you aren't getting your money's worth, but that is this case. If you are looking for that extra touch - this is one great way to go!
Tim Holtz Filmstrip Ribbon has to be one of my all time favorite scrapbook toys, there is a lot of filmstrip in the little metal container that you will be hard pressed to use it very quickly. I like to cut them into squares and then stamp letters on them, adhere to paper with the Ranger Glossy Accents glue and the make cute little letter blocks, you will have tons of fun with this product, I highly recommend it!
Adds an instant vintage feel! I've used it many many times on several different layouts.... Usually with a collage style -- I've attached with brads and staples.... very easy to work with --- I love to put it diagonally across a page! And lets face it, the little metal filmstrip cannister is just plain fun! Tim hit a homerun with this product for me!
I got this when you offered it as a premium with an order, but having gotten it, I can tell you I would have more than been worth paying for! It is adorable and has tons of possibilities! I have not had time to use it yet, but I already have about 30 ideas for it, after seeing it, when I have the chance! LOL
