This sharpener is fabulous with my watercolor pencils. It sharpens beautifully, without grinding up the pencil. I love the receptacle for shavings. It’s easy to use and empty. Watercolor pencils can be hard to sharpen and can easily be chewed up if your not careful how you hold them. This sharpener with it’s slanted position gets my pencils sharp in a few turns with no waste. I’m very happy with this product and highly recommend.
I was skeptical about it working on the triangular shaped 'comfort grip' pencils, but it works great! Now I use it for all of my pencils, including color and watercolor pencils, graphite too.
