    Great tool.

Love it. I noticed that some people have problems opening the tool. My husband figured it out. Very simple. Hold the bottom part of the tool in your palm and place your thumb against the cap, press firmly and ‘POP’ the cover comes off. Do not try to unscrew. It won’t work that way.

Easy to use and very effective in keeping stray bits of embossing powder from sticking. I tried this because I had seen Jennifer McGuire and Kristina Werner use it so often.

Excellent tool every crafter should have!!

I work a lot with glues, inking and the like. I do a lot with the Xyron sticker system as well. When I run a die through my Xyron machine to add the sticky backing to it, no matter how hard I try to prevent 'sticky edges' I still have to deal with getting rid of some sticky residue/overages. This powder tool has ELIMINATED my extra work and time I had to put into trying to remove the sticky edges. The powder neutralizes the "sticky" parts that I don't want sticky so now I don't have to stress over trying to remove it. I just powder over it and ....no more sticky! I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this tool. I also have an anti-static powder pouch, that I also LOVE, for larger areas that I had before this tool. When I saw this tool, knowing how much I loved the pad, I had to try it. Love it - Works SUPERBLY!!! I've used it in so many other ways as well. Very handy tool!! Wish I had found it sooner!
UPDATE: I use this so much for so many things that I recently bought a second one! I wanted then in a handy/convenient spots in my office/craft room!

    E K Syccess - Powder Tool -- It's a miracle

I love to use my Xyron to attach delicate details to my project. The problem I have is that when the embellishment is very detailed I simply cannot remove all of the residue no matter if I trace around the piece before removing the film. But, once I was introduced to the EK Success - Powder Tool, my worries were over. It gets rid of everything. I am one happy camper. I will NEVER be without it.

    EK Tools Powder tool

Wow could anything be better! And refillable. I used to use a "bag" but I will cut it open and pour the contents into this container when it is empty! So clean and easy to use!

    Not so much

This really doesn't work the way I thought it would but maybe I'm using it wrong, I'll have to research a little. But right at this moment in time, I'm not impressed. I have arthritic hands and it took forever to get the lid off so be aware of that snafu.

    This is refillable

The bottom screws off; there are instructions included for refilling this.

I use it as an anti-static powder tool for embossing, and it works well. Very neat and convenient. The included powder smells like baby powder.

When I someday use up the powder (far in the future as this appears to empty very slowly), I plan to refill it with corn starch - another fine white powder - so that it won't be so smelly.

    EK's Powder Tool

I love this tool. It is comfortable to hold in your hands and applies just the right amount of powder through the brush. I use it for embossing with powders and especially when I make shaker cards.

The brush allows me to apply the powder in small places and corners allowing me not to become too heavy handed. Now, if only you could purchase loose powder to refill. This is one of my "must haves."

  • Does this powder tool come with the special powder? And when it runs out...where do I get refills?   By: prplvr01 (09-Jun-18) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!
    • Although this question is rather old, I wanted to correct the previous answer. I just bought one at another store (since it's not available here). First, it doesn't appear to be filled with anything special. Based on fragrance, it seems to be baby powder. Second, it is definitely refillable-there are instructions inside the package telling how to do so. By: craftygirl1671 (04-Mar-23) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you!
