I have used these several times to extend albums that just get too full. They're great!
I bought these posts knowing it was possible that they would not fit into my American Crafts album, and they didn't. I wish that the product description would give you a better indication of which albums they are compatable with.
If they do fit your albumn, they seem sturdy enough and should do the trick.

Do the Pioneer Extension Posts fit in the "screws" that would have come with an EK Success album that I bought years ago (probably 2012)? I can't seem to find EK Success album posts to extend my album. thanks!

No they seem to be a different thread, but you can replace the entire post not just the extensions.
