The Brown 3-Up Bonded Leather Album by Pioneer is ideal for storing photos before using them to scrapbook. There are 204 bi-directional slip-in pockets that will hold photos up to 4" x 6" as well as panoramic prints. The album is acid-, lignin-, and PVC-free and features a 3-ring chrome metal binding. There is a memo area next to each pocket. This album is recommended by Stacy Julian in her class, A Library of Memories.
I took Stacy Julian's advise from her "Photo Freedom" book and have now invested in two of these. They do hold a lot of photos and it's really easy to rearrange the pages as you add/remove pictures and reorganize.
These are great. Ive been rescuing photos from magnetic albums so I bought these in all of the different colors. They also allow me to journal next to the phots as I place them in the albums.

These are work horses for storage and organizing photos you eventually hope to scrap. They will hold more than 1 photo in each 4 x6 sleeve and if you have panoramic photos to store, they can be slipped in lengthwise. Now people can look through my photos in album form before I get around to scrapping.
The only reasons for 4 out of 5 stars is 1) no fun colors and 2) one of my binders has faulty 3 rings that don't match up properly resulting in pages that catch as I flip them. The other two are fine.
Great albums.
