If you cut cardstock into 1" strips, score down the middle and fold, they will slide right into the edge piece of your scrapbook page protector and you simply have to punch a hole at each hole in the page protector. I use cardstock that matches the color of my book (not the specific page) and it spaces out the pages just as easily and much less expensively than the cardboard ones. It works great for heavy, and layered pages because the folded cardstock is exactly the thickness of these spacers.
If you use album with 3 posts or rings these are useless. You have to punch the middle hole. Didn't even notice this when I ordered a set. I'll know better next time.
PS - why aren't there any three-hole spacers offered?
I have been scrap booking for years! And these help to add space between thicker pages. My books store better, pages lay flatter without creating a bend in my pages and I actually can get more pages to a book. I order at least 10 packs at a time, because the price is great!!!!
With many pages that are thick because If have pockets for brochures, etc. these spacers work great to keep the book level. I use them regularly in my albums.
I use to cut my own and punch the holes but thir spacers are so much easier.
I have not used them but they look good.

I bought this book at Michael's. If it had a name on it I threw it away when I took the plastic off but I do know they sell Recollections products. So i need to know if the spacers will fit this book Thank you

These spacers fit 12" x 12" or 8.5" x 11" Memory Books, including Pioneer style numbers: mb-10, mb-811, ftm-12 and ftm-811.

These are essentially cardboard and as another customer stated is about the thickness of folded cardstock. Each spacer adds approximately 2 mm of thickness. Hope this helps.
