I use these storage bags for all my stamp sets. They are the perfect size for these and the fold over flap keeps all the pieces securely inside.
I really like these storage pockets. I was using CD cases but found them
to flimsy and they were always cracking. This storage system is far better
for storing stamps and dies. They also take up less room than CD cases.
My stamps and dies were all over my craft room and it was hard to find them when I wanted. Now I have them in these clear acrylic pockets divided by stamps or dies, and then categorized ---- birthday, nature, thank you, other sentiments, holiday, etc....
Love these stamp and die storage pockets! Now I wish I had ordered more cause I didn't realize that I had more than 100 stamps sets! They are a life saver for me and it actually saves space! Thanks scrapbook.com for having these available.
I was using baggies for my die cuts. Didn't work well. They would slip and slide. These bags stay upright and it is much easier to find the one I want. Very pleased. Will get more for my embossing folders.
I've been doing so much research, spending ton's of money on all my dies. I seriously needed something that I could keep my dies in and fill secure, without them falling out. I also purchased those magnetic vent cover's, also purchased the heavy kind of card stock as well. Once all my dies arrive, I'll be attaching all my dies to the magnetic cover's. Then place them inside the Avery Elle, and I'll be happy.
These are perfect for holding "scraps"...those tags, journal cards etc you haven't used yet from 12x12 sheets.

I appreciate your answer but what about the width of the steel dies for these pockets? Is there any depth to them or are they flat?

The pockets are flat. I would not store my Tim Holtz or Sizzix dies in them. These envelopes are great for wafer dies.

Would my steel dies fit these pockets? i.e. Sizziz and Tim Holtz dies?

Any dies smaller than 5.5" by about 7" fit in fine. I use a sheet of blank cardstock inside the envelopes, then a magnet sheet cut to about the size of the dies to keep them flat (if there are multiples in the die set). This works very well to keep them safe and easy to find.
