    • AMAZING MACHINE!

I never was very interested in embossing, but as I got more into making cards it was clear I needed it. After much reasearching, I made the decision on the ebosser. I was nervous as it was pricey, but now that Ive had it for a month, I cannot stop using it! I'm totally in love with the machine!!! Easy to use, it's UNIVERSAL and can use pretty much any folder or die out there. So, glad I didn't do the Big Shot!

    • Must have this year

I love it, it saves me a lot of time and pain. i have arthritis and it puts little weight on my wrists. i also enjoy that i can use all my folders and die cuts and that i am not limited to only craftwell folders. i believe that this is a crafters dream machine, and not only paper crafting put it is great for all types of crafters.

      Great Purchase

I use my Ebosser on almost every project. I love the smaller footprint, yet it's ability to handle larger dies, etc. I don't find it any noisier than my Vagabond. I thought about selling the Vagabond, but found it nice to have both.

    • A fun an easy to use embosser and cutter

I never owned an embosser before I saw Teresa Collins' eBosser, I had seen many demonstrations of other brands. I've watched "big name" designers demonstrate their own versions of embossers struggling to crank their project all the way through. It might not be difficult physically, but it was clear they wanted the machine to go faster. I solved the frustrations I witnessed in others by buying the eBosser. It is electronic - so no cranking at all. The motor pulls the project through, and your embossing and'/or cutting is done in a flash. I don't have to struggle with a wobbly crank handle with my arthritic hands. I can have a thicker project to feed through, and it goes through as easily as one sheet of paper. The folders made by Craftwell are big - almost 12 inches long by 8.5 inches. You can emboss an entire piece of cardstock for layouts and not just small pieces for cards. Teresa makes special embossing folders that emboss a letter size cardstock into a card with different front and back! I'm so glad I picked the eBosser as my choice.

      • I do use it...I have it sitting right by my desk and ready to go all the time. It is the easiest machine to use...literally turn it on, load and let it go...it does all the work. It does work with Letterpress and every other die and folder I have tried...it is the best machine I have ever used!!! By: yvonne blair (11-Oct-14) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! • Yes you can! I cut them all the time in mine. By: yvonne blair (12-May-15) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This Answer has been reported. Thank you!

      • I was told that any metal die cut would work in this, and also embossing folders. I haven't had any problems with any that I have gotten so far of different kinds of brands. It just needs to fit on to a 8.5 x 11 size to go into the machine. May have to adjust the plate combinations. I have some that I have to take a plate out and insert a very thin tag board (cereal box) in it, sometimes a couple layers. But it will go through. I love mine and glad my hubby got it for me. • I have asked this question a couple of times now and not received an answer....so I'm trying a third time with my fingers crossed. I have tried using my Creative Expressions embossing folders in the ebosser and I cannot get them to work. Is there a trick to using these folders? I have a favourite Creative Expressions embossing folder called Rambling Roses, but I have tried different plate combinations and I just can't get it to go through the machine....it keeps spitting it out or it doesn't do anything at all......I'd appreciate any help....thank you.   By: Frances01 (19-Feb-15) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! • Frances, I’m not sure exactly what your problem is as I don’t know what combinations you have tried; nor do I have the same brand of embossing folder as you have. However, if your e-Bosser “spits out” a sandwich, then it is either too thick or not properly aligned. As a misalignment would be easy to spot and fix, I will assume it is too thick, in which case other plates will have to be used to make the sandwich.

First, if you use “A,” then the embossing folder, and then “C” and “D,” and it is too thick and rejected by the machine, the sandwich will have to be made thinner. Second, if you use “A,” then the embossing folder, “B” and “D,” and the paper in the folder is not deeply embossed, then the sandwich is too thin.

If it is too thick I would (and actually did) buy a second “A” plate. When you have that, make a sandwich with “A” on top, your embossing folder under that, followed by your second “A” plate, and then “C” or “D.” This will make a sandwich thickness between the first and second specified above.

If with the use of two “A” plates the sandwich is still not quite thick enough, insert “B” as well.

If the sandwich is too thin to emboss properly, again try a different combination of plates.

This all requires quite a bit of experimentation to find just the right combination and can be frustrating and wasteful. Therefore, you probably will want to avoid using any special paper or card stock until you have it worked out. However, whatever paper or card stock you experiment with, it should be the same weight as the “good” paper you eventually will be using.

I hope the use of a second “A” plate is helpful in finding just the right combination to work with your embossing folder. Please let us all know how this turns out for you.
