For a long time I was hesitant to purchase any type of border punches. I used to have one long time ago and it was so much pain to use. I finally gave in and decided to give this elegant Fiskars. The design was perfect for a card I wanted to make and the fact that I own several other Fiskars products that I am very happy with also played a role.
I was both excited and terryfied to try. The ease of use caught me by surprise. The punch has a platform with the design printed on it which makes alignment efortless and there is a stop for the paper which makes it easy to keep a straight line.
The results were fantastic and I bought several other Fiskar border punches since.

This is a wonderful punch. I have several of them in different styles and they are all very functional and easy to use. If you follow the directions it is very simple to match up the pattern of the punched paper to the printed pattern on either side of the punching mechanisim(it is there even though the photo does not show it). You can go either right or left and can make perfect borders and decent corners on squares and rectangles. The corners dont come out perfect obviously but they look pretty good and make a nice frame or journaling block for either cards or scrapbook pages.

I'm on a kick with border punches right now and so far, with the two Fiskars border punches that I have bought I am very happy with. Using this punch makes me think vintage or classic...A touch of old school. This is a great product!

I have several of their border punches and use this one when want an elegant look. They are easy to use and it's fun being creative with them. Fiskars makes quality products.
