You'll love the storage options you get with the Super Satchel Cube (15.5" x 16.75" x 15.63"). It is ideal for storing paper, cardstock, embellishments and unfinished projects. This unit is designed to store the slim, standard or double-deep Super Satchel Box. It comes pre-drilled with ports that will fit a custom rail to supports your Super Satchel Boxes (sold separately). You'll love the convenience of the pre-drilled holes on the top and bottom of each cube that allow for easy stacking. There are also caps included to cover the holes on the top of a single cube or to give a finished look to the top of a stack. You can purchase optional casters to make it possible to roll this storage unit where you want with ease. The casters will support 225 pounds (including cube and supplies), so it is not advised to stack more than two cubes on top of one set of casters. Comes with instructions and the hardware you need for assembly. Please note: the Super Satchel Deluxe Boxes will not fit inside this cube, but you can store them on top.

Should be a Five Star but...

I was excited to get this storage option into my studio. I purchased three cubes and began assembly the day I picked them up (I'm local). I was delighted to find a few extra hardware pieces in the first two hardware kits because missing parts can be a problem with "you do the assembly" kits. However, the third kit was missing one wooden peg which necessitated a trip to the hardware store. As might be expected, I had to purchase an entire package to get the ONE needed peg. I probably could have waited to have the company send me one, but I didn't want to live with the clutter that came out of the cabinet I got rid of when I picked up the cubes (which replaced it). I came home and mounted the bottom cube onto new hardwood legs (from Mesa Sales in Mesa, AZ - you can also get caster wheels, but they will only support 2 cubes). Next, I glued the cubes together with epoxy and then DH secured the stack into studs in the wall with "L" brackets to handle the extra weight and for stabilization of the tower. Enter the drama...when I tried to install the rails the Art Bin Satchels rest on (to aid in them sliding in and out of the cubes) the drilled holes in the cube didn't line up with the pegs on the rails. The space between the pegs is longer than the space between the holes. I'm so sad because I glued the pieces together and now can't return them to the manufacturer; I'm stuck with finding a solution. This storage option is ideal for my needs but I'm not sure my husband can find a way to get the rails to seat properly and the company doesn't seem to have a solution to help their customers.

Art Bin - Super Satchel - Cube

Takes away the need to stack and unstack the containers as they slide in/out instead of lifting to find the exact container you need. Does work with the We R Memory Keeper containers with the exception they do not slide in/out but need to be lifted straight up and out, taking up excess space. This is due to the groove on the side as opposed to the ArtBin straight sides allowing for a very neat, smooth straight in, straight out slide.

Also, when putting together and tacking on the back panel, must be extremely careful to tack the nails straight and in the center, as you could easily chip the particle board.

Bottom line, love this design and works extremely well for expediting use of the containers, including easy viewing.

  • Awesome Product!

I have had two of these cubes for a few years now. They are awesome for storing the artbin boxes. The wheels on the bottom (sold separately) make it easy to roll around so I can access it better. I store all my small embellishments in the thin boxes, and love how easy it is to use. I would recommend these to anyone who has several artbin 12X12 storage boxes.

    Art. bin cubes. and drawers

This is the 6th cube I have purchased. LOVE. Them. I have 2 carts and 2 cubes on top of some drawers. I have the electronic cartridge drawers in one of my carts. Besides scrapbooking supplies I am going to use this purchase for my sewing supplies. I am so organized some of my friends are jealous of how much I can. accomplish.

  • Have 4 of theses Cubes

The Super Satchels fit great in this cube. All though if the satchels are heavy the plastic runners do not hold them up.
I have them on there sides and store the satchels on there sides. It works very well for me with my 12" x 12" pattern paper.

    Faulty Support Rails

Love the idea of this storage system but the plastic rails that hold the boxes repeatedly break at the base of the pegs. As indicated in another review the pegs don’t always align well with the holes so they are stressed and tend to break. Considering I’m only holding packs of paper in each of the boxes you’d think they’d be a little more durable. It comes down to having to stack the boxes within the cube which totally defeats the purpose. The company needs to consider another material for these rails or another design such as a rail that half of it fully slides into the body of the box.

  • Will this hold four of the boxes or three and one not as tall?   By: renetucker (06-Sep-15) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!
    • The Super Satchel Cube easily holds 4 of the standard-sized Super Satchels or 8 of the slim satchels. I find that some of the knock-off brand boxes are not as deep, so the Cube will hold 4 of the off-brand boxes plus 1 slim box. By: blueiris (09-Sep-15) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! • I'd like to know the inside dimensions of the Super Satchel Cube, WxLxH. If anyone could take a moment and provide, I would be grateful! Thank you!   By: CatLG (22-Jan-20) Helpful Question?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This question has been reported. Thank you!
    • 15.5" x 16.75" x 15.63" is the outer dimensions and the boards are approximately 1/2" thick so you should be able to subtract that from the external measurements to get the inside dimensions. Hope this helps! By: Scrapbook.com (22-Jan-20) Helpful Answer?  Yes  |  No Thank you! Report Inappropriate This Answer has been reported. Thank you!
