A Provo Craft Bone Folder is a must have tool for every paper crafter. It's smooth rounded edges are perfect for scoring paper to help make crisp, clean and professional looking folds. It's also an excellent tool to use when you need to smooth/press down paper pieces while adhering to surfaces to avoid wrinkles or creases. A great reasonably priced little tool!
I was having a problem with some of my cardstock breaking at the fold on my cards with a different bone folder I was using, but no longer have that problem since I bought this one. It works great! A really good buy for the money too...
Works very well for folding papers (no more using your fingernail!). Also great for creasing or rub ons.
I expected a bone folder to be made from bone: this one is plastic. Plastic folders leave a residue on the cardstock when used to crease a fold, and the description did not mention the size. From the picture I expected a 6 inch length which is what I wanted, not a 9 inch length. I have refrained from purchasing several items from scrapbook.com because the description is inadequate.
This is a great bone folder. It makes very crisp folds on any type of paper and it perfect for cardmaking or scrapbooking. I have found that it also works well for rub ons.
Another use for the bonefolder is to make scoring lines. If you need to make several scoring lines on a page, use your paper cutter to guide you. My paper cutter has a slit down the center of the changeable ruller. Run the bone folder down the slit in the ruller and it will make a perfect score line every time. You will never have to worry about not getting the perfect line again!
