Bought the tips, watched MM's video on how to use them, read the instructions. They did not work. I called MM and within 3 days I received the replacement set they said they would send. Not only did they send them, they sent a free set of Paperie Rouge alphabet stickers and the Paperie Rouge Combo Brad set with them!
So the new tips arrived today, and did not work. I called them again and they said they had just found out that you need to tighten them more than "finger-tight" as the video had said. I tried it and it worked.
I loved my Slice before, love it even more now, and I am so sold on Making Memories' customer service.
I just recived mine , i am embossing on a thicker foil paaper and the flower truned out beautiful, it is so pretty i am going to fram it!!! it does exactly what it says it will do, i was not so sure about this but it really does work!!! please if you have a slice invest the 19.99 and get the embossing set you will love it. it is a whole new and simply way to get a beautiful design. i really hope they come out with a foam mat that goes up to a 12x12, that is another item that comes with it is a foam mat that is a little larger than a 4x4" frame, this is what you set the slice on to emboss. beautiful, beautiful!!!! great tool!!!
Tese tips add just a little bit of variety to an already great product. I have to remember to fold the card accordingly depending on whether I want embossing or debossing. Still haven't used all the tips but it is important to home the blade(tip) even if not cutting. Love it. Kathy
I knew Slice would come up with something that I could not resist buying. I ordered some of the foil metallic papers also and the embossing tips work great with those. I am anxious to try other papers. Plain cardstock did not work as well, but that is okay.
