So I bought my Slice machine, thinking that one of those little scrapers for removing stickers and sticky stuff would work perfectly for lifting the paper off of the sticky mat. Ummmm...nope. When I got this handy little spatula, I was initially disappointed. The scraper area is so THIN. I thought it couldn't handle the job or would break easily. I was wrong on both counts. The sharp little tip is perfect for getting between the paper and the cutting mat. The nice, flat, thin spatula area proceeds to lift the letters right up while still leaving plenty of adhesive on the mat. A must have for any Slice owner!
I have a silhouette, and I use this wonderful little spatula all the time to remove my cuttings from the mat. The pointed end makes it extremely easy to get under the letters or other images and pop them up. The spatula slides very easily. I also will turn it sideways and scrape all those extra little pieces and shavings off of the mat. It is durable and of course, my favorite color...blue!!!
I am the kind of scrapper to use what I have around the house. So when I purchased the Slice, I did not purchase any"extras". I tried to use a sharp knife to pry my cuts from the glass. What a disaster. So I gave in and purchased this simple spatula. Wow, does this little thing work just perfectly. I do not have dented edges on my cuts anymore.

It's a great little tool to have, gets under the cutouts and lifts them right off the mat. I was using my fingernail and most of the time I was bending the cutouts, or even tearing the edges. Great little tool.
I own an Expressions and like the Slice Spatula better than the Cricut one because of the pointed tip. This helps a lot to get under those little cut things.
