  • Works but expensive - there has to be another option

It works great and I did over 20 cuts with one application and I could have kept going. Just follow the instruction on how to apply it and keep a steady hold your slice machine while it is cutting. Also you really need the slice spatula to cleanly get the cutouts off the adhesive.

The problem is it is expensive and there has to be cheaper route to go.

I found another Repositional Glue that works just like the Slice Glue but costs much less.
The glue is Aleene's Tack-It Over & Over.
You use it EXACTLY like you use the Slice Glue. (follow the Slice Glue directions when using the Aleene's Tack-It Over & Over) I do suggest that you wet the foam brush down with water and squeeze the excess water from the foam brush. Then use the Aleene's Tack-It Glue in place of the Slice Glue but apply it just like you do the Slice Glue. (meaning spread it very thin and wait for it to fully dry before laying any cardstock on top of it)

The Aleene's Tack-It actually lasts longer than the Slice Glue. It washes off the glass plate easily with warm water and a little soap. You can also use rubbing alcohol and a paper towel to remove it from your glass plate if do not have access to running warm water and soap. (Just remember that rubbing alcohol is flammable)

Aleene's Tack-It Over and Over Glue comes in 4 ounce bottles and it sells for about $3.00 a bottle. (Google it to find sources for it if Scrapbook.com does not carry it)
Aleene's Tack-It is American made by Duncan Enterprises and it does not have the strong odor that the Slice Glue has.

I tried Krylon Repositional Spray Adhesive (Easy Tack) but it does not spray on evenly and it caused the die cuts too mess up during the cutting process. The Krylon also causes drag on the Slice motor. I would think the drag would eventually cause the Slice motor to burn up.

  • Slice adhesive

I love this adhesive! Somebody suggested using wax paper to cover it and make it last longer, and I plan to try that. But, I'm very happy with this product. I advise you to use a THIN layer of this adhesive. Keep going back and forth with the sponge to thin it out, and then give it a full 3 minutes to dry. You'll save time by doing this, trust me.

  • Making Memories Repositionable Adhesive

This came with my Slice and I love how easy it is to use and to wash up when finished. You can make several cuts with this product without having to wash it off and start over. The sponge brush is best if you wash it immediately after using and while you wait for the adhesive to dry a bit.

just a little bit but so important

I was pleasantly surprised to find this replacement adhesive is a much bigger tube than what comes in the original kit with the machine. I'm learning how to put ot on effectively and how to remove the diecuts much easier. I LOVE my slice! Kathy

  • Great Adhesive

I have seen a lot of reviews on several sites that the adhesive is horrible. I would recommend it to anyone. I've never had any trouble at all.

    Kind of dried up

I had gotten a tube from Amazon and when I opened it it was dried out. Was worried about how this one would be. It is okay, but it may not last as long as it should, so there may be some of it that dried up. I bought some of the new Allene tacky glue that others have suggested to try as well. Other than that, this really is a great glue for keeping the papers in place while you cut, and so easy to just wipe off with a wet wipe.

    All Dried Up!

I had the same problem. I ordered a couple of tubes to stock up and when I opened them they were all dried up and I couldn't get it to come out of the tube. I tried cutting the end off and everything but it was like paste. I definitely wouldn't order it from here again. I'm not sure if I'll try to buy it locally (it cost more but if it works it would be worth it) or try something else. I love my slice but the adhesive isn't working out for me at all.

    slice repositional adhesive

I am very disappointed in Memory Makers and this product. I opened it and it was like paste and all dried up. I needed to use this product immediately because the tiny glue that came with the Slice kit ran out. So I ordered from Scrapbook.com and waited over two weeks and couldn't used the product. I am very annoyed. For $6.00 I got nothing but a sponge. Thanks for nothing.
