I love this cutting machine. I have the Cricut, the Silhoutte, and the Big Shot, all of which have their stong points, and maybe I love this one the most because it is the newest but it offers things the others don't:
It cuts wherever you want, offers a decent range of sizes, can be used with small scraps of paper, and can be done right where you are sitting without a lot of space required. It also cuts very detailed images without tearing the paper or leaving parts of the image uncut, even Bazzill cardstock. I also love the fact that it doesn't require a plug to run. Finally, Making Memories has created some beautiful images and each card contains oodles of them without costing a fortune. Two thumbs up!
If you love butterflies and flowers, this is the card for you! There are 49 different flowers on this card, and most if not all are available in 7 different sizes! Multiply that by the kinds of paper you have to cut with and the possibilities are endless! The butterflies and bugs are really cute too! I like to dress them up with markers and stickles to get the look I want.
I was trying to decide between this and Basic Shapes 3 and I am so glad I got this one... although if I have my way I'll eventually get BS3 too!
When I knew I wanted a second slice design card I saw all the flower shapes on this one and knew I had to have it - now my only delima is decided which flower to cut out for my layouts- there are just sooo many choices- and with the slice it gives you the ability to cut in different sizes so you can layer the flowers and make any unique combination of colors and flowers that you want! Plus the butterflies on this card are gorgeous as well. I'm really glad i bought it!
i really enjoy it, it has more than i expected on it. this is a good investement!!!!!!!!!!!!
This is one of the first carts. I got when I bought my Slice. Had something I could use for every card I make. It was demonstrated at a big box store and I was enthralled. If you are looking for a cart. that can be your "go to" one, give this a try. I like the fonts. They are easy to peel off the mat.
