It's very handy and I use it for all of my vellum projects. I try not to use too much of it on one sheet of vellum, because I occasionally get small spots that show through. Still worth buying.
Used in this project: Must Have Flowers
This is a product that I have waited years and years for. Now I can produce a vellum covered product without having to attach an unwanted ribbon to hide the glue spot that inevitably would mar the surface of the finished product. This vellum adhesive runner is a superior product. It allows you to attach without any sign of adhesive blotch. Easy to use, totally invisible, and a great permanent seal. Having used it for wedding invitations with wonderful success, I even continued on and used it to seal the evelopes. So I would add that although it is made for vellum invisible use, it can also be used as any other adhesive runner would be used. I would have given it ten stars if that were a possibility!
Better the regular adhesive but not quite "invisible" as claimed.
I like the fact that it doesn't show through on your vellum.
I really liked this when I first got it. But after a while, the adhesive comes out irregularly, and is hard to stop--gets stringy when I try to end it. Still use it some because I have it, but don't intend to buy it again.

I really don't like this product. I don't know if it's me using it wrong or if it's just not that good.
The tape is really sticky and sometimes it won't let go properly from the dispenser which causes it to release in big blots once you finally get it to stick on your paper. I thought this was so hard to use that I actually went back to my photo mounting squares to attach my ghost alphabet (which I luckily had painted first so the squares didn't show through).
I would not recommend this. Get photo mounting sqaures, or glue dots or something instead! Or, if you use tape alot when you scrapbook, I'd recommend a glue gun like Scotch's ATG 714 which is kind of expensive but so easy to use!
I got 3 different Therm O Web Adhesive runners including the Vellum Runner.
The adhesive it's self is great and truely doesn't show on vellum, but there has got to be a better delivery system.
The adhesive is on a thin plastic film and if you are not careful the film can get off track, and then it becomes difficult to get working again.
This is the only adhesive runner that I have had to throw out because I couldn't get it working again. Because the film that the adhesive is on is so thin it gets crinkled easily and breaks with the slightest pull.
I will not purchase a therm o wed adhesive runner again.
